Hello! I'm Pastor Jeff

I'm the pastor here at FCC. I'm a proud father of three, and husband to an amazing wife. We came to Louisiana from Florida, and are originally from St. Louis. I'm a graduate of Eden Theological Seminary and felt my call to ministry in work to help rebuild after Hurricane Katrina. My theology is one of love and community. I believe that ALL are worthy of God's love and our respect because we are ALL created in God's image. I believe that if we are working to love and support our neighbor, we are doing God's work. I believe that everyone is welcome and that the church is so much more than just the building and being here for an hour or so on Sundays. My goal is for us to bring the church outside the walls and into the community with all around us, not just those like us. I believe that God saves all and wants nothing more then for us to experience perfect love and for us to share that love with everyone around us! 

In my spare time I play roller derby (it's actually how I met my wife!), play DnD, and love spending time with my family! I hope you come visit us and see what we're working on here at FCC and worship with us! I look forward to seeing you and exploring the mysteries of God together!!
